Life Chiropractic is a licensed practice serving patients in Metairie and throughout the Greater New Orleans area. Life Chiropractic was founded by Dr. James Rehkopf. Dr James and the rest of the friendly team at Life Chiropractic Family Practice, are dedicated to your total health and well being. We not only work with you in finding solutions to target your unique health care needs but we involve your other health care professionals as needed so you truly are getting the "best" possible care to diagnose, treat, improve and maintain your health.

The Doctor
Dr. James Rehkopf, DC
Dr. James is a native of New Orleans. After graduating Jesuit, he attended LSU where he earned a degree in Kinesiology and worked as a Student Athletic Trainer and Strength Coach for the LSU Football Team. He was also the captain of the LSU Rugby Team. While benefiting first hand from chiropractic care for a rugby injury, he began researching chiropractic and decided to pursue it as a profession. After attending Life Chiropractic College in Atlanta for 4 years, Dr. James earned his Doctorate degree and decided to move back home with the mission of "Increasing the health potential in the New Orleans area."
The Offices
Life Chiropractic has two locations in Gretna and Metairie. Both offices are equipped to treat any patient.. Our chiropractic tables allow us to adjust many different types of clients from newborn babies, pregnant mothers and the elderly and our Flexion/Distraction table is specifically used for serious back injuries such as bulging or herniated discs. We offer dry needling to treat a wide range of soft tissue dysfunction such as headaches, TMJ disorder, neck pain, and back pain to name a few. Each office is equipped with electro stimulation and mechanical traction. The Metairie location also offers three massage therapy rooms with the option of multiple massage techniques and an advanced water filtration system that produces alkaline, reverse-osmosis filtered water.
